About Kendra Hoffman

Kendra HeadshotReading and recording since 1991, Kendra got her start as the news reporter for student radio WCBU. In 1995, she began recording audio textbooks for blind and dyslexic students at the University of Michigan, some of whom liked her voice so much they would request her personally.

In 1997, Kendra expanded her repertoire with voice training at 171 Cedar in Corning, NY, and in 1999 moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota where she lives today. Along the way, she trained with Berlitz to improve her French, and can deliver a clean read for the French expressions frequently found in English-language fiction.

With a B.S. in Physics and an M.S. in Optical Engineering (think lasers, not glasses), Kendra can handle technical terms with ease. And if your spot requires a fast-paced delivery, she can do it with clear articulation.

In recent years, Kendra has studied with Edge Studio, The Talent Center, and the world-renowned Guthrie Theater. She also reads weekly for the Minnesota State Services for the Blind Talking Textbook program.

Kendra delivers high quality audio in multiple formats with rapid turnaround from her SaVoa-accredited studio, SaVoa shield and provides a phone patch via Skype for clients who wish to direct the session.

Kendra is on Voice123 and Voices.com.

At this time, Kendra is not a member of SAG nor AFTRA.
